Gravity Conveyor
Gravity conveyor are designed & constructed for most types of manufacturing and materials handling applications. Gravity conveyors are an efficient & economical way of moving goods, increasing productivity and reducing labour costs.
Gravity conveyors are easy to install or dismantle - making them also very suitable for temporary applications.
The choice of rollers or skate wheels will depend on the application, and with each style you have a selection of
straights, curves, gates & junctions - much like a model railway. Rollers suit most applications (such as cartons, drums, pallets etc) and skate wheels are more suited to light items (such as empty cartons).
Once you have chosen the most suitable style, the roller material and load capacity can be determined, along with the roller width, spacing (pitch), length, bend angle, and material to use.

Lineshaft conveyors
One of the most useful & economical motorised conveyor is the line shaft style, as it needs few drive units to work effectively. Line shaft conveyor systems are ideally suited to handling plastic tote bins, cardboard boxes or drums, in fact anything that has a flat conveying surface.
Line shaft units can convey up to 7kg per roller at speeds ranging from 5 to 45 m/min.
Line shaft conveyors can handle slight changes in elevation, but is not recommended for gradients greater than 3 degrees.
Straight lengths - 1,500 and 3,000 mm standard
Widths - 305, 460 and 610mm standard
Curves - 30, 45, 60 and 90 degree

Belt conveyors
Belt conveyors are flexible in design and can be tailored as either fixed, portable or telescoping for either horizontal or incline/decline applications. Generally belt conveyors are 'belt on slider bed' or 'belt on roller' design.
There is a multitude of conveyor belt types available, generally rubber or PVC, in a wide variety of different cover
types. They can be smooth cover, cleated, rough top, or wedge grip, and available with side guards or cleats, to
individually suit the job.
Beds can be either flat (e.g. for cartons)or troughed (e.g. for loose items like sand/gravel).
Motor size is calculated to suit the application, but can be either single phase (240v) or 3 phase (415v)
with fixed speed or variable speed controls.
